While Real Madrid put four goals past Eibar and Atletico Madrid also won at Espanyol, Barcelona lost their second successive Liga game against Real Sociedad. It was another defeat for Barcelona at Real Sociedad after last week Classico loss to Real Madrid at home. It signalled the Blaugranas are getting more tired by the weeks.
The game against Real Sociedad is the fifth loss for Barcelona at Sociedad in seven games. In seven games against Barcelona in La Liga at Anoeta Stadium, Real Sociedad have not lost a single match, drawing two and winning five. Xabi Prieto's delivery was sent straight to the Bravo's net by Oyarzabal leaving the Barcelona's goalkeeper with no chance. Barcelona had numerous chances to level the goal, but Real Sociedad stood their ground to continue their impressive form against Barcelona at Anoeta Stadium in La Liga.
Barcelona lead as been further reduced after this week loss. Atletico Madrid is separated from Barcelona by just three points while the gap between Real Madrid is now just four points. Barcelona will be hoping their deep in form doesn't continue next week.
